FordCredit is a division of Ford which focuses mainly on providing customers with credit to purchase a Ford car from one of the Ford dealers.
FordCredit approached us to propose a potential solution for their business.
All requirements came in a specification document with back and forth engagement with them.
They required an application that will enable their existing users to have access to their credit information.
Their clients should also be able to apply for a new vehicle from the app and be able to request a quote on their existing vehicle.
This came as a result of many clients constantly requesting information on their outstanding balances and if they miss a payment not knowing how much they need to pay the following month
As the Lead UX designer, my responsibilities included:
- Going through the detailed spec and understand their requirements.
- Ask any questions around the spec
- Conduct competitor analysis
- Ask people who own cars on credit what they would look for in an app like this
- Mock-up ideas
- Do the design
