Raised in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth, my curiosity and eagerness to learn has caused me to live and work in different parts of South Africa and Africa.
I completed by Bachelors degree in Information Systems and Business Management from the Nelson Mandela University followed by an Honours Degree in Business Informatics from the University of South Africa.
My career in user experience started at the Western Cape Government, where I formed part of a team that ensured that local citizens had access to digital government services. I later joined EOH where I worked for a number of clients, growing and expanding my experience in a short period of time. I later got an opportunity to serve and design medical digital solutions, giving me an opportunity to travel and meet doctors across Africa.
At present, I serve as a UX manager developing and grooming the next generation of designers. I design with a user centric approach applying Lean and Design thinking methodology.
I work with stakeholders to define and understand business problems and objectives. I invove the user as much as possible ensuring that the end product will address their needs
